We had a good response and selected 13 Multi-Day Trips and 11 Single Day trips for 2025. Specific information for each trip will be emailed to you in the upcoming weeks and will also be posted on our website ilrbw.org. |
Historic and Ethnic Cleveland – Part 2 Historic and Ethnic Cleveland – Part 2 March 11, 2025 Cost: $99 per person Continuing on our series of Cleveland ethnic tours, come join us and learn about hidden Cleveland areas and how we have grown and developed. We’ll start by seeing the Beach bath house that became a garden center that became an aquarium before becoming a police canine training facility! We’ll see the first filming of a Bank Robbery in the World, enroute to restored League Park, the original home of the 1891 Cleveland Spiders and where Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run. We’ll experience Cleveland’s answer to New York’s Greenwich Village at Coventry-on-the-Heights and then take in the specialties of the oldest Kosher grocery store & bakery in Cleveland. We’ll have lunch at an elegant 1920’s hotel overlooking the Art Museum lagoons and is now a restored apartment building. In the afternoon, we’ll visit an ethnic Shrine Church, see the development of Steelyard Commons and complete our day touring trendy Tremont, developed in 1853 with the first College in Cleveland. |

Next, we'll take an elevator to the lowest level and enter the Visitor's Clubhouse before we stop in the Visitor Dugout for more stories.
